Walkies
Your dog will be walked at a local country park, I never walk dogs near roads, and nor do I allow dogs off lead, unless this is a specific requirement of the owner, and then only after they have signed a disclaimer, and I am 100% confident of the dogs recall and their trust & respect of me. Your dog won’t be kept on a short lead, but will be on a 3m tracking lead which still gives them freedom, but I also still have full control.
I do not walk anymore than 5 dogs at anyone time and they all have to be of similar size & temperament. I do believe that if you have any more than this that you can not give each dog the attention and time that they need, and also more importantly for their own safety.
For dogs that perhaps have ‘issues’ with other dogs I will consider, but no dog is ever walked without me meeting them prior, and gaining a full background and I do offer a one to one walk.
Home Visits
I am more than happy to pop round to let your dog out in the garden, give them dinner, and make a fuss of them, and on the way out, I will make sure that if needed a light is left on to give the impression of someone being home, to deter any unwanted visitors……….
Puppy Care
So you have your new little arrival, but you work full time, and he isn’t able to go out for walkies as he hasn’t had all his jabs? Well I will visit your home and engage your puppy in an hour of play, as well as reinforcing the toilet training & basic training, and of course getting them used to a lead…..
All little accidents are also cleared up and disposed of appropriately!!
As a growing puppy I also ensure that they are getting fed the required amount of food, which is so essential to a growing puppy. Then once, all the jabs are done & ready for the big wide world I will help socialize your little one which is so important for a happy & well balanced dog for the future.
Cat Feeding / Small Animal Visits
Going on holiday?? Don’t like the idea of catteries, cant find anyone else to look after the small animals, well don’t worry A Dog’s Best Friend can also take care of your pets.
I have experience in caring for Cats, Rabbits, Hamsters, Guinea Pigs, Rats, Chinchillas, Pygmy Hedgehogs, Small Birds & Parrots!
I will ensure that they are all fed, given fresh water daily and are kept clean. We are cheaper than most catteries in the area, and will certainly ensure that your cat sticks to the same routine as when your at home, then has proven to be more successful than catteries as the cats are noticably more happier and less stressed, when they are kept in their own enviroment.
